restarted my system tonight as I had trouble with permissions on my cache drive took out cache drive but  could not connect to any shares on my win 7 machine found out samba would not run and that system seems to be in read only.

 

Can somone help me recover

Did you unassign the cache drive before removing it?  I don't know if that step is necessary, but it might be.

which version are you using? if you are using version 5 and able to access the flash drive, back up those plg files and try rebooting without'em

Using v5 rc8a only plugins is Simple features 1.5 can't assess flash over LAN I am concerned about not being able to write to Boot/config/superdat file will this mean loss of my files or can I replace this file and re assign my drives
