Hey guys,

 

Since the beginning of using 5.0 (current rc8a) i have been having permission issues with transmission downloads regarding samba and AFP.

 

I have attached 2 putty outputs to help visualise the problem.

 

The first one shows folder permissions of the downloads folder.

The second one shows permissions of a subfolder and files and also what changes when i copy some of the files over to another share using samba.

 

Problem is when i want to move my downloads to other folders i get a prompt saying i need permissions to TOWER/nobody.

Smb sharing settings are set to public though i have tried secure with my user. Neither work.

 

I you need more info just ask... :)
