Data Drive with Pending Sectors

I noticed last night after pulling a SMART report that 1 of my data drives has 2 pending sectors. Its my understanding that to get these to reallocate I have to write to those sectors and the only way to do this would be a data rebuild on that disk.

 

If I am correct my steps should be:

 

1. Stop the array and unassign that disk.

2. Start the array

3. Stop the array and reassign the disk

4. Rebuild should start

 

Are these steps correct?
