December 9, 201213 yr Hi, I have a VU+ Ultimo tv tuner connected to my server for recording. I ran 5.0beta14 until recently, but after upgrading to 5.0 rc8 I'm not able to log on to the server from the tuner. Are there any known issues related to this when upgrading to rc8?
December 10, 201213 yr Author Trying to login as root and no password. This used to work on the 5.0b14 setup. Access to user share works just fine from Windows machine.

From the Release notes for Version 5.0 Beta: "the 'root' user name is no longer permitted for network share authentication. " The default owner of all shares is now--- 'nobody'
