afp issue with beta5 -rc8a

Featured Replies

I just upgraded to beta5-rc8a.  I setup the array and started it.  SMB works from my Mac but AFP doesn't work at all.  It is enabled.  I try the 'connect to server' and I get the error "The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again.".  I don't see atalkd or afpd running when I do a 'ps'.

Any ideas? Thanks,

Did you enable AFP under 'Network Settings' on the 'Settings' page in the GUI?
