December 16, 201213 yr Went to swap out a drive yesterday. Turn off the Array and powerdown the UnRaid server. Swap drives and powered up the Server however I am unable to get //Tower/Main or the IP address http://192.168.1.XX to retrieve the Main Page so I can turn on the Array. I can ping the server from my PC and I can retrieve a IP from the UnRaid server. I have re-started the switch multiple times, I can see my other machines from the Windows7 OS just not the UnRaid Server. I do have the syslog but seem unable to attach it.
December 16, 201213 yr Author I am now able to view Tower via windows explorer however I still can not access http://tower/main.htm or by my IP Address. Unable to restart the array. syslog.txt
December 16, 201213 yr The drive, WDC_WD1001FALS-00J7B1_WD-WMATV2705776, is not configured as AHCI in BIOS.
December 16, 201213 yr Author For now, I have disconnected the WDC_WD1001FALS-00J7B1_WD-WMATV2705776 drive. After disconnecting the drive, I still have no network activity and can't access by the IP address. New System file is attached. syslog-2012-12-16.txt
December 16, 201213 yr The server has the following address: Dec 16 15:50:32 Tower ifplugd(eth0)[1279]: client: dhcpcd: your IP address = 192.168.1.2
December 16, 201213 yr Author That is the address I am trying to access. See the attachment as I am able to ping 192.168.1.2 however, I can't access the WebGUI.
December 17, 201213 yr Author Received the following output Root 1367 1 0 15:50 ? 00:00:00 /user/local/sbin/emhttp Root 1368 1612 0 19:43 pts/0 00:00:00 grep emhttp
December 17, 201213 yr Author Kaspersky Anti virius application. The server was working fine before I had to swap out the hard drive failure. Based on reading other similar post is it possible that I need to re-start the emhttp?
December 17, 201213 yr I'd try disabling or removing the anti-virus software. AV software often blocks web access to unRAID.
December 18, 201213 yr Author I have disabled the anti virus and turned off the firewall. No dice still can't access the Web GUI (Tower Main) page.
December 18, 201213 yr Do this: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Console#To_cleanly_Stop_the_array_from_the_command_line Then you can reboot.
December 18, 201213 yr Author Execute the commands that you defined in the link and received the following: umount: /dev/md1/: not found
December 19, 201213 yr Execute the commands that you defined in the link and received the following: umount: /dev/md1/: not found type mount to see what drives are mounted currently. if unRAID has not mounted the drive, you cannot un-mount it.
