December 18, 201213 yr I wasn't sure if this was normal or not.. but I thought I would ask. I have 2 x WD20EARX drives in my machine. I also have 1 x ST2000DM001 machine. Reading speed is fine. I get about 60 - 80 mb/s from both drives. Not a big deal.. However, when I was transferring some files to unRAID machine, I noticed that the write speed for WD20EARX is so much slower. Here is the screen shot of ST2000DM001 transferring speed: about 20 mb/s. That's expected. Here is the screen shot of WD20EARX transferring speed... It never goes above 3 mb/s This can't be normal... is it? My syslog is clean..
