so my dad purchased a wd live box the other day. After seeing my set up he wants something similar.

I use xbmc but for the most part it should be the same.

 

So I am looking at building them a 3 drive setup using 3 or 4tb drives.

I need something small but can still house the 3 3.5" drives,  any idea?

    I'll second prostuffs suggestion.

    These work great and are complete ready to run servers in a SFF.

     

    Just add more drives. if you buy a licensed unraid, you can use the 250GB drive for a cache drive.

     

    I bought one of these just because it was on sale.. great little server.
