December 29, 201213 yr Rosewill, Athena, Hercules, Diablotek, Coolmax, KDM Power... All names I'm not really familiar with. I have a Hercules in a system now, and it weighs about as much as a pack of smokes, even though it claims a 600w rating. And the wires are super thin. I need a MicroATX power supply (or something 2.5" tall) and I'm running out of options. Need something in the 300w range from a reputable company. I can't find much on Newegg or Ebay that I recognize. Any experience with the aforementioned brands? I am contemplating simply using an ATX PS and removing the power supply board itself from the metal box, but I'm afraid it won't fit, and worse, I'm afraid an unshielded PS will induce RF noise into the system. This is for a 10-drive server I am building in a VERY SMALL case. I'll post more details later if I'm successful, it should be a fun build. Any comments?

December 31, 201213 yr I am running a silverstone small form factor (SFX) PSU in my Mac case conversion. http://www.silverstonetek.com/product_power.php?tno=7&area=en Not the cheapest, but they are getting decent reviews.
