December 29, 201213 yr So many people have inquired about blacklist rules and I have added them to the original "Newznab" plugin thread, but its buried deep into the posts. I have published a quick article on my indexer's blog to give you some useful blacklist rules and references: http://blog.phile.biz/post/39106364519/useful-blacklist-rules

December 29, 201213 yr Thanks Shat. This will help quite a bit! Now if I could just figure out how to eliminate those NZB's that have the bogus names...
December 29, 201213 yr Author Bob, the black list rules i post will blacklist hashed entries. I will post the script for purging/scrubbing database soon. Making some tweaks.
December 30, 201213 yr Thanks Shat. This will help quite a bit! Now if I could just figure out how to eliminate those NZB's that have the bogus names... Bob, you can also run update_parsing.php in misc/testing/ it will match a decent amount of those bogus names and should cleanup some of them.
December 31, 201213 yr Author Read the top of the update_parsing script as its either it or update_cleanup that doesn't do anything but echo if you don't comment out the two lines referenced.
December 31, 201213 yr update_cleanup is the one that does nothing but echo, without changing the commented lines it specifies. update_parsing only runs on items in TV->Other, Movie->Other, and Misc->Other. If you want it to run against the whole database, it has instructions to comment out certain lines (but does work on just those groups without making changes to the file).
