December 31, 201213 yr This morning I decided to replace a 750 GB disk with a 2 TB Hitachi. I stopped the array, powered down, switched disks and powered up. The web gui showed that the array wasn't started and that a disk was missing. I assigned the new 2 TB disk to the now empty slot selected I want to do this and Start and waited, waited some more, waited even more, after a long time of about 15 mins the web gui came finally back and showed a button data rebuild. I clicked it and the disk is now rebuilding, During this "waiting-time" the server was unaccessible through tower, tower:8080 and I couldn't even access SABNZB at tower:8085. Is this normal behaviour and to be expected? I am running 5.0 RC8a Virtualized.
December 31, 201213 yr nothing the array would be doing would affect the unMENU web-pages, therefore, probably your network interface virtuialzation was doing something odd. In any case, if the array is working, it is entirely NORMAL FOR YOU. Questions about anything involving your customization should be addressed in the appropriate forum where more people with experience will see them. They will not get much attention in the general forum. Joe L.
