dragon123
Me too. But I need more of these 3tb disks! Same here, I don't want a WD Green in my box the reviews are too poor. I bought 3 when it went on sale, but now I wish I had bought 4 as I want one for my Cache drive as a warm drive now. I am waiting for a similar sale to come around. Quote Link to comment
pfp
I need some new drives > 2tb and want green/low power ones. Can someone clue me in to what is wrong with theses? Quote Link to comment

From personal experience, I've faced 0 issues and have been using them for nearly a year. I have 3 of these (one of them parity). However, if it's not urgent, I'd suggest waiting as they've dropped to $90 on some sales and that will potentially happen again. If you do need it urgently, this is an excellent drive to own. Actually, the lowest price these have been on Newegg or Amazon is $123.99 and that was back in September of 2011. The $90 price was for the Seagate 3TB drives and those only have a one year warranty compared to these with 2 year. In any case, they're bound to get cheaper if you're willing to wait. Ah, OK, I thought all of the Seagate internals had been lowered to 1 year. Quote Link to comment
