I am using right now 2 WD TV Live with Wifi adapter (Tenda W311U and W322U) and they work great to stream from my UnraidServer

I may need an additional device, and was wondering what was on the market other than the WD TV Live

 

Can the Apple TV or ROKU stream from the server?

    Roku can. ATV2 can, if jailbroken and XBMC is installed. There is no jailbreak for ATV3 yet, but it's reportedly soon.

    I forgot to mention that my 2 WD TV Live are 1st gen (book style)

    I've seen there is now the 3rd gen, more square with built-in wifi

    I guess it can access network as well.......

    How does it compare with ROKU?
