September 11, 200817 yr I would like to see USB drives and arrays to be made available as part of the unRAID share management system. One of the things I love about my readyNAS NV+ is auto mount integration. It's a big reason why I have not gotten rid of it. I pop a USB disk into one of the ports and it becomes available as a share on the network. I pop my USB Flash key in a specific port and it automatically gets copied to a DATED directory. This is great for my camera uploads. It's sort of like my NSLU2. I add a drive and it becomes available on the network. I go to the web interface and unmount it and I can take it off line. It's great for my MP3 Player and camera. Heck, I even use it sometimes to mount CD's over the network.
