Parity speed halved rc6-test2 to rc8a

Featured Replies

Been having disk connection issues during parity checks, so I upgraded from rc6-test2 to rc8a.

No other changes than the upgrade, and my parity check speed has been cut in half, it now takes almost 24 hours to complete a parity check.

Used to be 80MB/s average, now 40MB/s average.

Disk rebuild speed is still good at 90-110MB/s, and read speed is still 85MB/s+

Hardware is:

Asus F1A76-V Pro with AMD A8 proc and 4gig ram

Supermicro AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 controller

Corsair 750w Professional Series PSU

Syslog attached.

Had a successful non-correcting parity check go through without a disk disconnection last night, just started a correcting parity check, hopefully it goes through without a disk disconnecting.

Currently running at 35-50MB/s.

See my sig to disable all add-ons. There is a plug-in trying to load.
