Methods of user customization

Featured Replies

I've started a Wiki article on the various ways to implement user customizations:

Please feel free to flesh it out.

Also, has anyone started a list of packages and dependencies known to work on stock unRAID?  I'd like to put list in the wiki in the format:

Package title, what it does, link to download, known dependencies, and notes....:

================

WGet    Downloads files via http or ftp      http://www.linuxpackages.net/pkg_details.php?id=6984      no known dependencies

Just want to say that is excellent work!

And the worth of a comprehensive package list is too obvious to need comment.  I really hope others will participate in fleshing it out.

For myself, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by all of the work being done by the user community lately, hard to keep up with, let alone give the attention it deserves.  If Tom never issues another release, the unRAID project is very useful just the way it is now, but looks to have a great future with all of the current user projects.

Yes, that is really great work there!

I have a number of things to contribute to the package list.

Great Job!!! I'm proud to be a member of this team!
