Hey Guys,

 

as the subject says i want to passthrough an an "IBM M1015" in my HP n40l.

 

1. Is this even possible?

 

I tryed it allready without success the Controler is listed under Configuration -> Storageadapters but when i go to advanced settings the passthrough configuration button is grey and i can't click on it.

 

2. Do i may have to falsh a diffrent firmeware to the controler card? -> read smth about it don't really know what it's good for.

 

All this is completly new for me an actualy i don't really know what im doing so please help if there is any solution u guys know about.

    It is more than likely that your motherboard and processor will not support passthrough.

     

    Changing the firmware on the card will not likely get you any closer to your goal either.
