January 11, 201313 yr Hi Guys, I'm looking at building an unraid server for myself (and retiring my old ZFS box). I'd like to know if its possible to have drives not part of the array but be visible and usable by the OS? Basically, I'm looking to setup a 10 drive system, +1 cache, +1 parity. Then I'm looking to add 1 more disk and use it, but not part of the array (a junk drive of sorts).
