I think there is universal agreement on that, and it has been discussed here several times, but it's not something we can do ourselves, even the moderators.  Only Tom can do it, if it's possible with the SMF forum software used here.  In the mean time, if you look at the top of the top forum page, you will see news items in the line that fades in and out, UnRAID versions, support for 3TB drives, and the third item is the 2 links you mentioned.

It's possible to do. Would just be more convenient than waiting for the link to show.  Just figured this was the part of the forum to suggest things to Tom and get his attention.

You are absolutely correct this is the right area for your suggestion. ;)

Agree the links are useful -- but the fact is they're already there ... you just need to have a bit of patience to wait for them on the news line  :)

... just for grins, I timed it => there's ~ 10 seconds between each of the 3 items on the display;  so at most you'd have to wait 20 seconds for the link  8)

Click on the LIMETECH logo at the forum top and see where it takes you.

The older readynas forum that was running SMF had a link at the top right which went to the wiki.

I know it's possible, it's really based on need and limetech's time.
