January 19, 201313 yr The errors could be cause by a bad or loose cable or SATA port. Or EM interference on the cable. The SATA port on the drive itself could be flakey. I'd run pre-clear on the drive and the use it.

January 19, 201313 yr Author as its just 2 months old will download their testing tool and test the drive and do a return. off shopping for a replacement to get the array back up and running and fully protected again.
