i am new to Unraid, but now i read about the symform project.

 

With this program it is possible to do an offsite-backup.

Is it possible to include this programm in unraid somehow?

I just saw this topic. but it would indeed be awesome to have a plugin for symform. i think its a great idea for backup.

 

On the site they have downloads for different linux versions. Would it be possible to make a plugin for this?

I'd say.. There is a crashplan plugin now... That can be used for offsite backups.

Yikes... You have to contribute twice as much space as you use? Doesn't sound like a good setup to me!

The Linux system requirements from the first link state:

 

You must be running the Gnome windowing environment

 

Not going to happen for unRAID.
