January 22, 201313 yr Hi , I have new motherboard (GA-H57M) and cpu (I3) for my unraid box (because I want it to server plex). How I replace my current old m.b without having problems with the array ? (does it it matters which disk connect to which sata connection on m.b. ?!) Thx.

Take a screen shot prior to doing anything so you'll know how the disks were assigned. you may need to re-assign them to their respective slots in the array. That will depend on the version of unRAID you are using. (We have no clue? You might be using version 1.0 for all we know) Joe L.

I'm using V5 rc10 The screenshot is after I'm stopping the array , right ?
January 22, 201313 yr Take a screenshot of the main drive assignments page while the array is active. That way you can tell which drive serial number goes in which disk slot. I think this is less importation in unRaid V5 but to be on the safe side screenshot it anyways.

January 23, 201313 yr Touché JoeL, I thought I read somewhere that ver 5 could detect the drives orders. But yes I always like to have a current screenshot just in case.

Usually it will, but more than once in a migration like this somebody trashed their flash drive, and then the screen shot becomes very important.
