January 23, 201313 yr I was trying to do a new config as i wanted to remove a disk from my unraid to be a cache drive. I didn't write down my disks. I was told just to look for the unformatted drive but I'm not sure how to do that. I just assigned all my drives to disks (not the parity slot) and started up my array but no luck - the system froze and I had to reboot my unit. Now I think I have a bigger problem. I can't access my unit through the web GUI. I can still see the unit on my network (no disks mounted) and can connect via telnet, but am unable to manage my unit through the web GUI.
January 23, 201313 yr Author this is shown when you start up the array correct? I never made it to that point as everything froze and now I'm trying just to be able to get back into the web gui ... Had to restart my system and ever since I did that I'm now unable to get into the web gui initially I could connect via telnet and issue commands, but now I can't even get into telnet.
January 23, 201313 yr Can be so many things. Is Motherboard and RAM OK? Maybe do RAMtest first? Is the USB stick still OK? Might first try to start without disks
