Since 2012-10-16 18:27 until 2014-03-15 14:23 the server has used 611,89Kw @ the price of 689.40 SEK - And is running 24/7

That is ~1,19KW/day, 689,40 SEK is about 77,50 €. för 515 days, 0.15 €/day... ;-)

Man that's a nice looking build! Simple and clean!

Looks great and simple! I've been on the lookout for a build like this especially for the Plex side of things. Only question is are you doing any 1080p streaming via Plex? If so how does it run?

Hi!

I can do about 12 of the 1080P transcodings at the same time, have not tested with more than that, so i dont know the limit.

This build is really, really good, and now with some new fans it is cold and quiet!

Since 2012-10-16 18:27 until 201-08-12 21:38 the server has used 350,88Kw @ the price of 399,40 SEK

....I take it, that is for 10 months, ending at 2013-08-12 and 350KWh....which gives an average of 48.6W consumption...you've been running a lot of these transcoding jobs  ;D

But at that pricetag, I'd probably do the same...400SEK are approx 46EUR, so that'll make out less than 0.13EUR per KWh...man, that *is* cheap...average here is around double of that.

Pays 1.14SEK/Kwh, and that is included all the cost for the Subscription fees and so to...

I was loving this build until the apple sticker  >:(

That's So Raven.

I have the same case, it's a lovely case! I keep debating whether or not I should upgrade to a 24 bay server case but I don't think I'll ever use all of the bays.

Although after seeing this I might keep the case and upgrade the CPU/Mobo/Ram. The only downside is you can only fit seven drives in it; 6x 3.5" and 1x 2.5". But with hard drive sizes increasing I can't really see a problem.

Yeah it is a nice case, only problem is the amount of disc u can get in it, and for now i have a 3.5" cache, but i need a 2.8" but do not know what kind of disc that can run 24/7 that is 2.8"...

1TB is what i need.. ;) only runs the mover 1 time every day, mbay that i can get a 500gb and run it 2-4 times aday... ;)

Updated the Server with one WD Red 3TB, Upgraded to 5 RC16c, Licens to Pro and moved the cachedrive to data, and added a 1TB WD RE for cache, going to make a move for a bigger chassi(Fractal Design Define R4 White) now when getting more Discs, also upgraded to 5 rc16c and put openVPN and OwnCloud up.

Nice build!

I'm looking to build a similar system.

Any idea on the power consumption of the latest build yet? This has become more important for me since taxes on electricity will be raised from 6% to 21% here. (Crazy, right?!  :o )

Which graphics card is assigned to unraid?  Can you use both outputs?

Happy with overal performance?

Any idea if the RAMs clockspeed has much of an effect on performance? RAM running at 3000MHz is much more expensive.
