smitbret
Okay, I am confused about whether or not I can us my current MB in a new unRAID setup and be able to use 3 TB drives. The MB is just a couple of years old but isn't UEFI. I've been to the MB's support site (Asus) and they offer an unlocking program that allows the use of 3TB HDDs in a Windows environment as long as it's not the boot drive. My impression is that it is a Windows limitation for using the HDD for booting but that unRAID shouldn't have a problem reading the full 3 TB. Is that correct? Quote Link to comment

bw1
But you have to be using one of the 5.0 RC or beta releases. unRAID 4.7 doesn't support 3+ TB drives. Quote Link to comment
