January 26, 201313 yr I have a server running 4.7 with no problem and unMenu installed. In upgrading to 5.0r10, I uncompressed the zip file and copied everything except make_bootable.bat and syslinux.exe over top existing flash drive contents. When I tried booting up (multiple times), it never got to the screen for unRaid or memtest. I then copied bzimage and bzroot from 5.0r8a and re-booted... no problem now. I then proceeded to check differences in *.cfg files and put back in my changes, reboot and still all good. Has this problem been seen before? P.S. I'll try rc9a after my parity rebuild is done.
January 26, 201313 yr If you didn't even got the screen to select unraid or memtest then the problem was at syslinux. See my post (including quotes) at: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=25250.msg222168#msg222168
January 26, 201313 yr Author That makes sense now. The answer is that after 5.0r8a you need to run the make_bootable.bat batch file to update the flash key.
