rustybeans
Is there any recommendations or suggestion as to what kind of Network Monitoring software I can use to monitor my CPU, Disk Drives, Memory core temp, and bandwidth? My plan is to use an extra machine I have to do light work, to just leave it on the monitoring page. Thanks! Frank! Quote Link to comment
mrow
If you use iDevices the iStat app along with the iStat server plugin will do everything you've asked for except for memory temp, which I believe would require you actually add your own thermal sensor as one is not typically built in. Here are some screenshots of the app: Or are you looking for something that will log all this data? Quote Link to comment
rustybeans
I actually do use istat... but my does not look like that. What I wanted to do was to use my second computer to monitor my unraid server. (its an IT thing I guess) I thought that PRTG or Open manage would do it but I must be missing something. How did you get your iStat to give you so much information? what version are you on? Quote Link to comment
mrow
I'm using iStat server 0.5.8 and iStat 2 from the app store. When they released the new version of iStat it was a paid upgrade, it wasn't free, so you've got to buy the new one. I was able to see all this info in iStat 1 though. What information are you not seeing in yours? Quote Link to comment
rustybeans
Looks like I am still using iStat 1. I am going to think about buying istat2.... but for now i want what istat2 show just from the PC not my ipad or iphone. Quote Link to comment
mrow
Sounds like what you want is Munin: http://munin-monitoring.org/ Demo of it: http://demo.munin-monitoring.org/ I don't know what it would take to get a plugin up and running for unraid though. You might try making a request in the 'plugin design' forum. Quote Link to comment
chip
What is needed to get istat running on unraid? Quote Link to comment

Situations like this are why I wish we were Debian based instead of Slackware. Quote Link to comment

That version is way out of date. Quote Link to comment
