January 28, 201313 yr Does anyone have any warnings as to why I should not purchase an IBM M1015 for additional hard drive support, or if applicable an alternate Controller to get more HDD support. I would like the price to be under or around $150 (USD), and allow for 8 additional drives.
January 28, 201313 yr Search is your friend ;-) You'll find tons of ppl using that card. Sent from my SGH-I727R using Tapatalk 2
January 28, 201313 yr the only reason against the M1015 is the lack of warranty. I have a mountain of them. They rock.. (they rocked harder when they were $65)
January 29, 201313 yr Author So other than that you would definitely recommend getting the M1015? There are no known issues with that (flashed to IT mode) on version 5.0 (RCX)?
January 30, 201313 yr No issues at all mate - as mentioned, lots of us use them (and some of us use multiples, I have 3 in my system.) They are rock solid and run like a dream - best bang for buck for a controller imho.
