FreeMan
Anybody using NZB Unity or Couch Forwarder (or another app) on their Android phone to monitor & control SAB, SB, CP & HP? I've seen numerous warnings about exposing your unRAID to the world, and that makes perfect sense. I'm wondering, if it's behind a NAT router, with a port forward for the desired ports and a 64 (or more) character random password, would that be reasonably secure? Any thoughts on these two, or suggestion for another? Link to comment
CrashnBrn
I'm currently using MediaDog for Android and it's been fantastic. The developer is very responsive and the app does everything I need it to do. Anything you are look for specifically? As far as with Unraid I can't answer that, all of those apps are running on a separate box. Link to comment
aptalca
I have been running sab, couch and sick for over a year on unraid. I also forwarded their ports in my router's firewall for remote access. Have not had any security related issues. I also set up openvpn because awhile back they scared me about opening ports to unraid, but going through the openvpn login every time I wanted to check the plugins was a pain. So I use it for remote desktop only. Like CrashnBrn, I am using mediadog on android. It is excellent. If you download it from the thread on xbmc forums, it is free. . . Link to comment
FreeMan
Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'll probably give all 3 of them a try and see which I like best. Link to comment
bnevets27
There is also nzb 360. Its paid and was actually one of the few things I've bought. Good developer and the best GUI out of all I've tried but missing a little functionally here and there. Link to comment
