Hello;

I have a quick question which bugged me for a while, but kept postponing to post it here. 

I don't want that box checked (see the screenshot), but no matter what I do, each time I change from one screen (menu) to another and then I come back to the main screen, I find the flag "write corrections to parity disk" checked.

Why is that happening?!

It is how it was coded to act.  You can un-check it yourself for a specific press of the "parity Check" button.

 

You are not alone in that you would prefer it stay un-checked...  Send an e-mail to [email protected] expressing your reasons to have it be persistent.

I remember at some point the parity check was configurable in one on the config files and (if I remember correctly) that overrode the main screen setting. It looks like that is no longer accessible/present. I looked it up and couldn't find it.
