February 1, 201313 yr Is it as simple as going into unMenu and using the Pkg Manager? It doesn't seem to work for me if so - as most of the ones I have removed/un-installed will continue to say "Currently Installed. Will NOT be automatically Re-Installed upon Re-Boot." but after numerous re-boots...they always say that they are 'Currently installed". Can I simply delete the files on the boot Flash drive? If so, what directories should I delete? is it safe? I honestly want a completely fresh install of the latest 5.0-rc10...but I'm afraid....very afraid! That I will lose my drives/files.... Any advice or links to performing a complete reformat of the flash drive to run a stock release with no plugins or addons enabled? This would be my preference...I just don't want to lose my data Currently Running 5.0-rc10...but seem to have minor issues that hamper my enjoyment of the server...probably due to all my tinkering thanks for listening and providing anything you might have to help me... Mike
February 1, 201313 yr As far as I know all you have to is delete or rename the /boot/config/plugins folder. The rename option means you can re-instate them easily if required.
February 1, 201313 yr I don't think UnMENU uses the plugins folder, believe it uses the packages folder. You should rename it also, and any folder named extra. To return to mostly stock operation, make a backup of your entire flash drive, then copy the stock go file from any UnRAID AIO distro back to the config folder. Or create a new go file from the sig of dgaschk.
February 1, 201313 yr See "System Recovery Steps" and "Stock go file" in dgaschk's signature. I think he calls it "System Recovery Steps" because you have to remove addons to eliminate those as a source of problems and simplify back to stock "supported" unRAID.
