February 2, 201313 yr Hi, I'm going to upgrade my server soon with new MB/CPU/memory and a new BR10i sas card. I will do a screen dump in the GUI of my disk first. After I installed the MB,1430SA card and the new SAS card I just connect the drives, and in the GUI I assign the same order I have now so my disk1 go in to the new disk1 slot... and so on... Is this document in the WIKI ? I have search..... Anything else I need to take care of when upgrading hardware? //Peter

Anything else I need to take care of when upgrading hardware? //Peter Yes, you need to set the flash drive as the boot drive in the BIOS. You need to set the disk controller ports to ACHI. (frequently they are set to a legacy mode so older versions of Microsoft products can boot. M$ through Win-XP had no SATA drivers, so unless IDE disk emulation is on by default, they could not boot) Joe L.
