How know what drive a file is on?

Featured Replies

I want to try to run reiserfsck to recover some deleted files. I am supposed to run it on the drive that has the files, but I'm not sure how to know that.

Anyone have any thoughts on that?

The 5.0RC11 has a new feature where if you drill down on a user share in the web GUI you get told what drive(s) a folder/file is located on.  Whether that will help you in this particular case I am not sure

itimpi...maybe I should upgrade to 5.0rc11. Although I don't know if after the upgrade I would have lost the files I want to recover.

JFYI...my issue is that for some reason I had a bunch of files in a directory turn into .tmp files. Before engaging my brain I deleted them. Then pretty quickly realized they were actual data files.

Not quite sure my best path.
