User nfs export

Featured Replies

Hello, I believe I am generally pretty good at searching out the answers to questions but I cannot seem to find what I am looking for.

My unraid box is a little slow at running all the services I now have going(sab, sickbeard, couch, plex, headphones), the idea is to strip all that off and have it running under esxi/ubuntu server, now to my point.

When I export nfs , under ubuntu server I only see Disk1,disk2,disk3....etc, what I am looking for is /user/media, which contains all of my videos for plex to see and work its magic with.

Any ideas or better suggestions, I currently do something similar, but plex is on a windows laptop that is underpowered and only works when it wants to.

Forgot to add, I am still on 4.7

Did you export NFS under your share 'media'.  Goto the 'Shares' tab, click on the Share name ('media' in your case) and setup for NFS export.
