[SOLVED] How to determine drive order from syslog

Featured Replies

I'm sure this is a simple question, but better safe than sorry...

I restarted UnRaid a few hours ago to see only a dreaded blinking cursor after reboot.  Doing some reading, I copied my flash drive and then reformatted it.  Now, I have UnRaid reinstalled and working, but I need to reassign my drives to "parity", "disk1", "cache", etc. and the only info I have is the syslog from my prior setup.

I am assuming that this should point me to the correct thing:

Feb  4 17:20:19 Tower kernel: md: import disk0: [8,48] (sdd) Hitachi_HDS5C3020ALA632_ML0220F30E938D size: 1953514552
Feb  4 17:20:19 Tower kernel: mdcmd (2): import 1 8,64 1953514552 Hitachi_HDS5C3020ALA632_ML0220F30BL93D
Feb  4 17:20:19 Tower kernel: md: import disk1: [8,64] (sde) Hitachi_HDS5C3020ALA632_ML0220F30BL93D size: 1953514552

Feb  4 17:20:19 Tower kernel: mdcmd (5): import 4 8,16 1953514552 WDC_WD20EARX-00PASB0_WD-WMAZA7525238
Feb  4 17:20:19 Tower kernel: md: import disk4: [8,16] (sdb) WDC_WD20EARX-00PASB0_WD-WMAZA7525238 size: 1953514552
Feb  4 17:20:19 Tower kernel: mdcmd (6): import 5 0,0

with disk0 = parity and disk 1-4 equal to disk 1-4, (leaving the cache drive to be whatever drive is left).

Can anyone provide a quick sanity check on this before I commit to it :)  Thanks!
