How full can you fill your HD's up too on unraid. I know with an OS drive on windows you generally don't wanna go past 80% for best performance. But I got no clue on what is recommended for unraid and this file system.

IMO, 100% is fine.  Windows OS is an issue because some of the disk is needed for swap/temp space.

 

That said, if you get close to the top, it is probably time to move to another drive or get more/bigger drives not for technical reasons, but because it is a PITA to run out of space in the middle of something.
