February 9, 201313 yr I have the following for sale: 2 - .75m mini SAS SFF-8087 to 4-SATA connectors forward breakout cables ($9 each / free shipping). 6 2 - .6m mini SAS SFF-8087 to mini SAS SFF-8087 cables ($7 each / free shipping). 5 - Thermaltake aluminum hard drive cage with front mounted 120mm fan (fan is a Thermaltake TT-1225) ($10 each ($8 each for the ones without a grill) / free shipping). These are 3-in-3 cages so they don't save you any space, but they are excellent for keeping your drives cool. They have a 4-pin molex connector for power along with a 3-pin connector with a single wire for reporting fan speed only (no power). Two of these units do not have a fan grill. Fan has blue LED's. All of these items are used and I do not have any original packaging, but all are in very good condition. Here are a couple pictures of the drive cages: 2013-02-08_18-59-50_49 by rockdawg2232, on Flickr 2013-02-08_18-59-26_631 by rockdawg2232, on Flickr
February 15, 201313 yr Good prices surprised no one has jumped. No issue with bumping if it helps you.
February 15, 201313 yr Thanks RockDawg for the cage, arrived safely here, fan is nice, works fine, blue LED's, seems quiet. My usage is somewhat non-standard. Since I'm very poor, can't afford new case or new controllers, I've had to leave the side off my computer, put a small cheap house fan outside aiming in, then lean hard disks against the outside of the present case! (Not exactly a pic for the Pimp your Rig thread!) This lets me organize it somewhat, with this cage outside with its own cooling.

I had some money saved up to upgrade my HT, and possibly buy a 3TB hdd for my server, but a 20 year old girl decided not to pay attention, broadsided me, totaled her daddy's car and mine. So, now I can't really wait for the insurance company and CHP to complete their investigation. I need another vehicle now. So, there it went Anyway, those are some nice cages! Good luck with the sales. BUMP!!!!
February 17, 201313 yr Author NAS - Thanks! RobJ - Glad you're happy with the drive cage. It's been a while since I used them and I totally forgot about the blue LED's on the fan. I hope that is not a bother to you as I could see somebody not liking that. I'll be sure to update my OP.
