OwnCloud installation?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I give up trying to figure permissions out in my Server 2008 vm to allow ownCloud running in IIS to access my Unraid server.  :)  So... I've installed the Simple Features webserver, but I'm not sure how to setup OwnCloud on it.  I saw in a previous thread where you need to install the files in the www folder (of which I'm pretty sure is different with the current version of SimpleFeatures) and then someone said you need to move them to an array disk.

How do I put OwnCloud on an array and then how do I point the web interface to that?

Any help is much appreciated!  I've Googled and searched quite a bit, but I can't find any detailed answers since I'm n00bing this one.  :)

I have this entry in my lighttpd.cfg

$SERVER["socket"] == "192.168.0.199:8087" {
        server.document-root = "/mnt/cache/www/owncloud/"
}

Works perfect

Sweet... thank you for the reply.

I'll give this a shot and see what I can get it to work.  :)

Question... I changed the mount to "/mnt/disk2/www/owncloud/", is that right?

Also, do I need to do anything other than un tar the files and place them in the directory?

Thanks again,

Brandon
