Unformatted disk

I just added a new hard drive to my server. Before add it I used the preclear function  that is completed without errors. I gave the disc to the first free slot and restart the server. When I start the array disk is "Unformatted". What should I do? Thank you.

    A preclear is not a format. You will have to format the new drive as well.

    Doesn't the system offer to format it?  If not, there's something wrong - but if it does, then let it go ahead and format ... it should only take a minute, or two.
