MB with 2 IDE connectors and Gigabit LAN?

Featured Replies

I'm going to be setting up a new unRaid box using my old IDE drives, so I'm looking for a motherboard that has 2 IDE connector (therefore supporting 4 drives) and that has Gigabit LAN. Of course, it should be able to boot from USB, but I'm not too worried about what processor I use. Any suggestions?

I currently run my unRAID development box on an Asus K8N-e, that fits that criteria.  Good mobo.

Thanks, bubbaQ, but I'm not sure I can find this (relatively) old motherboard where I am.

Heffe2001, I have a couple such cards (using two with unRaid) but my unscientific perception is that they slow the boot up time, and I don't leave my unRaid box on all the time.

The card I'm using may add 3 or 4 seconds to boot, but I do leave mine on all the time, so it's not a big deal (for me at least).
