Help compiling OSCAM

Hi, I found an old post (http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=22960.0) about this that would of been perfect for me except the compiled code the user had attached did not work with my Smargo Reader (OSCAM errors saying ERROR: You have specified 'protocol = smartreader' in oscam.server, recompile with libusb support) . I basically need help understanding either how to compile my own code (I managed to overcome this on Ubuntu but have 0 knowledge regarding slackware, unraid etc...) or a link to something already compiled.

 

Any pointers greatly appreciated.
