Media randomly pauses while playing

Ok, I dont have a syslog or anything to offer as at the moment I'm running a memtest. I believe I'm running v5.0-rc7. My problem is random. I use XBMC all over the house and I didnt have this problem while my file server was running windows. The two changes that happened on my setup were unraid and upgrading XBMC to the newest version. I've reinstalled last years version of XBMC and I'm still having the issue. You can be watching any video that is stored on the unraid and randomly it will stop, and say that it is buffering then start back. Sometimes it starts back quickly, sometimes it may be 30 seconds. Everything is ran on a gb switch on cat6 so bandwidth isnt an issue. Like I said, I dont have any syslogs or anything sense I'm running the memtest but I guess I'd just like to know if someone else has had an issue or someone could just throw out a suggestion. Like should I upgrade to the rc11.

All my pc's are running XBMCBuntu. Thanks for the help though. I may still run this software on my windows pc's. I think what I'm going to do is look to upgrade to rc11. I'm fixing to start reading on that. My quick memtest shows nothing is wrong but I'm letting it continue to run.

I've upgraded to rc11 and the server itself seems snappier. Let's see if this fixed my issues.
