I'n new, And wonderingwether I should use the 4GB version or the normal ;)

Hello, Im new here and I have a quick question.

I've just build a server:

cpu: Intel g1610 2.6GHZ

ram: crucial 4gb 1600mhz 1.5v cl 9

mbo: asrock h77m

psu: 300watt be quiet

case: elite 310

I installed unraid 5 rc11 on an usb stick and booted. Should I use the 4G version because I have only 4GB of ram? Or can I run the default one?

Maybe this is already been asked :S, can't find it ;)

Thanks in advance

use default, its mainly for a specific supermicro board AFAIK

Okay ty ;)

No, it is not specific to supermicro board.

I had a different board (ECS) before, and it had a problem

but yes, you should use default. you should only use 4gb when you see a problem.

If you see a very slow write speed (under 5 mb/s), you should try 4GB
