February 21, 201313 yr Hi all, A few months ago I replaced a drive in the server with a larger one. I have the older drive sitting around and it has a bunch of music on it. I want to take it to work and use it there. Is there anyway to access it and read the files from a Windows 7 system? (I tried an external drive enclosure connected via USB and this did not work--I figured this would be too easy.) Is there a way to make the files readable? Thanks, Brian

February 21, 201313 yr Assuming all of the music is still on your Unraid server, just format the old drive in windows, copy the music from your unraid server to the freshly formatted disk and your are good to go. Use a utility such as teracopy to copy all of the music files.
February 23, 201313 yr Author Yes, the yareg thing was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the link! To anyone else who might want to use it, make sure to run as Admin (through windows) otherwise you'll just see an empty screen with no files. Thanks, B.
