Unraid 4.7

All I want to do is change my unraid server name from (\\TOWER) to something else (\\Rebel_Base). I know....Star Wars.

What is case sensitive for the "TOWER" name? Or does it not matter?

Would it matter if it were:

Rebel_Base

Rebel-Base

REBEL_BASE

REBEL-BASE

And...is it as simple as just changing it on the "Unraid-main" page (http://tower:8080/unraid_main) under "settings" where it says

...."Server name: Tower"

...."Comments: blah blah blah"

...."Share security: {simple} with drop down window"

...."Workgroup: name of workgroup"

...."Local master: {No} with drop down window"

...."Apply button, and Undo button"

The only issue i see (assuming it is as easy and I wrote above) I will have to change whatever shares that XBMC are looking for and...I think the unraid location? Instead of (http://tower:8080/unraid_main) it would have to be changed to (http://REBEL-BASE:8080/unraid_main)

Am I correct?

I am just a little afraid to touch it and do something REALLY stupid, so I ask dumb questions now instead of later.

Thanks for helping out a noob

1) Case doesn't matter. I'd avoid the underscore, some older devices might not like it. Dashes are ok to use.

2) Yes; that's where you change it followed by rebooting

3) Yes; You'd have to update all your connecting devices to the new host name
