hawihoney
Some people here suggested I should do a parity-check after some years - so I did. Parity check is on 668GB (45%) currently. The smallest drive has 750GB so all drives are being read currently. What puzzles me are the read values. Seems that the upper half - regardless of the drive - has other read values than the lower half of the drive list. What is this? Does this sound reasonable? Thanks Harald Link to comment
Joe L.
Are those disks on a different disk controller? It is possible for the disk cache buffering to be different. It may be the numbers reflect the physical reads, not counting those satisfied by the disk cache. In any case, it is nothing to worry about. Link to comment
hawihoney
Thanks for your answer. Different controller? This is possible. LimeTech uses identical cards in their machines but this might be mainboard vs. two identical controller cards. Link to comment
