Hey All,

 

So I updated to the latest Simple Features (v nice) however somewhere along the line my newznab install died along with it. If I now try to run the newznab install the pre-flight check page gives me php errors that I didn't get before on the older version of SF:

 

The PHP installation lacks support for iconv & The PHP installation lacks support for MySQL(mysqli_connect).

 

SF webserver is running - says PHP 5.3.17)

 

I also noticed that the cfg for SF now resides in boot > config > simpleFeatures whereas before is was boot > config > plugins > simpleFeatures.

 

If I run the 'Install Web Server' option from the NewzNab plugin, it installs a copy of SF Webserver to boot > config > plugins > and then all hell breaks loose!

 

Any advice would be welcome

Does  I need a later version of mysql? Right now its Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.28

Solved. There were two issues here, a knackered NewzNab plugin and the fact that NewzNab itself had been updated via SVN. The current update to NewzNab now uses mysqli which by default is commented out in php.ini.

 

If you get the fatal mysqli error go to your php.ini and uncomment

 

extension=mysqli.so

 

and save, then restart your webserver.
