Suggested Editor to use -> Notepad++

Featured Replies

I just wanted to suggest another Windows Editor to use to edit the config files on unraid.  Its called Notepad ++ and it can be downloaded here:  http://notepad-plus-plus.org/.

Its free, and edits just about any file you can throw at it.

It's my go to editor as well, as it has an enormous range of plugins that do some really neat stuff.

Everything you need for a windows install is either here:-

http://ninite.com/

or on the "Sandboxie" and "Display fusion" websites.

That's literally everything you ever need.

I'm using Notepad2.

I use bbedit.

if we're talking mac I gotta go with Textmate, plus it's open source now so you can compile it yourself or find someone who has compiled a binary already. Or pay for it and support the developer ;)
