March 4, 201313 yr I want to buy 2 more licenses of unRaid, but I have only one machine built at the moment. I have the second flash I intend to use, but don't have the time to build another machine rightaway. How can I extract the GUID of the USB so that I can buy the 2 key package rightaway and build the second one later on? The main issues are that I cannot add cache drive etc to the current build until I get the licence and I dont want 2 WIP machines on my workstation at the same time. On the other hand, since I am making multiple servers, I do want to make the most of the volume discount. Any help here?
March 4, 201313 yr Just boot unraid on any old PC/laptop/etc? It won't make any changes to your system unless you assign a drive to the array (or start using stuff like preclear/mount/etc in terminal). Just boot up, grab GUID, shutdown.
March 4, 201313 yr Author Ok, I did a bit of juggling and got the 2 GUIDs but now the page for purchasing the keys on the site seems down! Thanks for the advice.
