Trouble Finding Correct Ram

Featured Replies

I spend tax $$ and got a "SUPERMICRO MBD-X9SCM-F-O LGA 1155 Intel C204 Micro ATX Intel Xeon E3 Server Motherboard " from newegg - but I am having trouble finding ram that it likes, I get the ram beep code

Last stick I tried was http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0080K6A06/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

From what I read it is supposed to be the correct type of ram, I eventually wanted to get another stick after payday, but when I put it in today I still get the memory beep error code.

Is this the correct ram?  If not - can you point me to the correct type?

Thanks

Myk

You need unregistered/unbuffered ram

Look for something like:

KVR16E11k4

I've bought 2 "KVR16E11/4" for my exact same board, works fine:-
